Keystroke Shortcuts
Using the mouse to select menu items to change your documents is all very well, but when your fingers are on already on the keyboard it's often quicker to make changes using keyboard shortcuts. Here are some of the more useful.

| CTRL + A | Highlights all the text in a document |
CTRL + Z | Undo |
| CTRL + Shift + N | Removes all formatting from highlighted text |
| CTRL + X | Cut |
| CTRL + C | Copy |
| CTRL + V | Paste |
| CTRL + B | Formats the selected text as bold |
| CTRL + I | Formats the selected text as italic |
| CTRL + U | Formats the selected text as underlined |
| SHIFT + F3 | Converts the select text to uppercase / lower case / Proper Case (in Word) |
Backspace | Returns to the previous page (in Internet Explorer) |
